CASSIE IS DESIGNING T-SHIRTS & TANK TOPS

After Cassie ordered clothes off sportswear label DimePiece's website, the brand wrote her back and suggested they collaborate. Cassie, in typical celebrity fashion, said yes. Her DimePiece collection will include only black and white clothes. So far she's only designed T-shirts and tank tops. But according to People, "there will be nothing basic" about those. Naturally, Cassie can't do an interview these days without talking about her half-shaven hairstyle. Today she offers, "When I did the hairstyle, I hadn’t seen it on anyone else. It was just crazy, punk, off the wall. After I did it, people sent me photos of other girls doing it. So I wouldn’t say I was the first to do it, but I sort of made it mainstream.

At last night's Prada "Fallen Shadows" party, a mélange of notable names like Kanye West, Cassie, Paula Patton, Zoe Saldana, and D Woods and Aubrey of Danity Kane all showed up. Prada power!

Kanye has been rockin the "geek chic" look hard lately. He's been all over town this week in all types of nerdy glasses, sweaters, and slim suits, and I love it! This man eats, sleeps, and breathes fashion.

Everybody keeps talking about the shoes that Rihanna wore while at the Coco de Ville in West Hollywood on Tuesday night. They're the Pierre Hardy Metallic Strappy Platform Lace-Ups ($1200). From the Fall 2008 collection, this polytonal pump is sure to be a hit this upcoming season. Cassie and LaLa were also recently photographed wearing them as well.

Over the weekend, Amerie wore the vest at the 3rd annual ‘Hot in Hollywood’ event IN LA. Just last week, Cassie wore it to VIBE’s 15th Anniversary party. The first out of the three ladies to rock it was Rihanna several weeks ago while out shopping. They all complimented the vest with black pants and black pumps. DIDDY BRINGS MAGIC TO THE CITY

Diddy debuted A/Winter collection for Sean John last night at the line's showroom. Naturally, it was a star studded occassion boasting guests such as designer Zac Posen, singer Cassie and models Lamar James, the green-eyed Darrell Walden, Marcus Lloyd and Sallieu Jalloh.

As much as I like to hate on Cassie for being a puny-voiced, non-talented(but gorgeous) model, there's always that little bit of curiosity to what her latest tune will sound like, as if the stars will align again and she'll come up with something as equally as impressive as Me & U. Despite a slew of mildly respectable tracks popping up all over the Internet in recent months from her, including new single Official Girl (featuring Lil' Wayne), nothing has been particularly brow-raising...that is until the leaking of the quite striking My House. A mid-tempo "trance & b" offering produced by Prince-obsessed eccentric Channel 7 that slithers to a knocking beat of light drum thuds and lurid synth notes, My House, puts Cassie right where she needs to be, sing-whispering, blow-up-doll double entendres about getting you to enter her "double doors". The song floats with the ethereal air of a daydream sex fantasy; a fitting vibe since A: it nurtures Cassie's featherweight vocals perfectly, and B: only in about 99.9% of the male population's dreams would they probably ever get the beauty begging them to come to her..."castle". Good stuff. Look for Cassie's sophomore album to drop sometime in early '09.

N*E*R*D AND LUPE FIASCO COVER COMPLEX MAG

Complex Magazine officially posted their Aug/Sept Style and Design collector’s edition issue cover, which features N.E.R.D. and Lupe Fiasco, as well as celeb artists KAWS and Todd “REAS” James. Complex wanted to fuse music and art in a new way, and did so by letting KAWS “take hold” of Pharrell and the gang, while REAS hooks up Lupe with a sunny backdrop. Even better, KAWS did more custom artwork, check out two of his in-issue pieces after the jump.

For anybody out there who cares... Cassie confirmed recently that she and Diddy are no longer 'getting in rockin.' But wait, did I miss the announcement where they confirmed that they we're indeed an item??? Sounds like "Little Miss Official" is trying to stir up a little media buzz being that her will is dropping soon.

“I will confirm that rumor,” the 21-year-old told reporters who asked her to confirm split rumors at DJ Cassidy’s birthday at Cipriani 23rd Street. Though Cassie tells Us she’s not seeing anyone special “right now,” a party source spotted Diddy and Cassie “slipping out” together after the soiree ended.

Last night, Cassie hosted the launch of Madison Square Garden’s New Series, NYC Sound Tracks, at the Metrazur Restaurant in New York City.

Currently, Cassie is preparing for the release of her sophomore effort. Expect to see the video premiere of her first single, Official Girl, real soon, as they just wrapped the shoot in LA about a week ago. She gives a special treat - Lil' Wayne jumped on board to bless the single with a few bars of hot fire. He will also appear in the video. I am glad to see her doing big things. As much as I'd like to hate, I can't, becuase she is too damn gorgeous.

Last night, Missy Elliot’s Birthday Bash took place at Marquee in New York City. The Grammy award winning artist turned 37. BET's Julissa Bermudez, Laurie Ann Gibson, and DJ Cassidy were among those who came out to celebrate.

Diddy's Beef with Ryan Leslie over Cassie

Diddy has been offering up plenty of career advice to singer (and rumored girlfriend) Cassie lately. But does this include ditching ex-boyfriend, Ryan Leslie???

According to the NY Daily News, Diddy has been telling her that she no longer needs him.

Leslie, the Harvard educated, singer/producer for artists such as Beyoncé, Danity Kane and Britney Spears, "discovered Cassie," says a source. She even sings the hook on his latest, but yet to be released, single, Addiction. Not to mention that he is executive producing her new project for Bad Boy. But now that Diddy has his eye on her, will the tides change?

Diddy's rep, of course, denies any friction.
