Last night, Cassie hosted the launch of Madison Square Garden’s New Series, NYC Sound Tracks, at the Metrazur Restaurant in New York City. Currently, Cassie is preparing for the release of her sophomore effort. Expect to see the video premiere of her first single, Official Girl, real soon, as they just wrapped the shoot in LA about a week ago. She gives a special treat - Lil' Wayne jumped on board to bless the single with a few bars of hot fire. He will also appear in the video. I am glad to see her doing big things. As much as I'd like to hate, I can't, becuase she is too damn gorgeous.
Last night, Missy Elliot’s Birthday Bash took place at Marquee in New York City. The Grammy award winning artist turned 37. BET's Julissa Bermudez, Laurie Ann Gibson, and DJ Cassidy were among those who came out to celebrate.
