NEW VIDEO | KERI HILSON "KNOCK YOU DOWN" FEAT. KANYE WEST AND NE-YO
Keris Hilson’s big day has finally arrived. The accomplished songwriter and aspiring singer’s first solo album, In A Perfect World, is officially available for download today. To celebrate the occasion Keri and her label released her latest video, Knock You Down, which features Kanye West and fellow singer/songwriter, Ne-Yo.
NO MONEY, MO' PROBLEMS FOR DAME DASH
We'll pretend like we didn't see this one coming. Roc-A-Fella Records and Rocawear co-founder, Damon Dash has been slapped with divorce papers by wife Rachel Roy. The stunning fashion designer piled onto Dash’s already sizable stack of lawsuits when she filed for divorce from her husband of four years this month in Manhattan Supreme Court. Ed Hayes, a lawyer for Roy, declined to comment, and a Dash spokeswoman did not return calls or e-mails. An electronic record of the case says the divorce is for “nonmonetary relief” and should be resolved by February. Dash and Roy, who put her own name on a women’s fashion line, got hitched in Mexico in January 2005. They met when Roy was working at Rocawear and have two daughters. The breakup is the latest legal mess for the has-been hip-hop titan, whose empire - which he once pegged at “about $50 million” in a New York magazine profile - has crumbled under massive debt, bad business deals and one suit after another. Dash, who in 2005 sold his stake in Rocawear to Jay-Z for $20 million, owes $2 million in state taxes, and a bank has started foreclosure proceedings on his two Tribeca condos.

BEYONCE COVERS VOGUE
Beyonce graces the cover of the April issue of VOGUE magazine. The photo spread was shot by famed photographer Mario Testino.
Bey is currently hard at work gearing up for her upcoming year-long tour featuring costumes by Thierry Mugler. Her next two videos to be released soon are for the singles “Ego” and “Broken-Hearted Girl”.
SPOTTED | RIHANNA IN NEW YORK CITY
A happy, smiling Rihanna was spotted last night here in NYC as she celebrated an extremely belated birthday at The Spotted Pig restaurant in the West Village. Celebrity friends, Brandy, Beyonce, and of course Jay-Z shared some laughs with her as well. Despite everything, we’re glad to see that she is coming out of hiding and enjoying time with friends.
In related news, sources connected with both Chris Brown and Rihanna are saying that Brown’s lawyer, Mark Geragos, wants the judge to give Rihanna a pass from testifying because of leaks in the case. We’re told Geragos and Rihanna’s lawyer, Donald Etra, believe Rihanna was compromised when her name surfaced as the alleged victim in the beating. They claim this and other leaks violate her privacy rights and therefore she should not have to further put herself out to the public by testifying against Brown in the case. It’s further proof Rihanna and Brown are back together and in lockstep. Geragos asked to meet with the judge in chambers, along with the prosecutors, on March 23 to discuss letting Rihanna off the hook. Brown’s arraignment is set for April 6.

The Kanye West sneakers for Louis Vuitton will be hitting stores in June and today we can for the first time get a good overview of the line-up and especially get a closer look at the numerous high top sneakers that are part of the collaboration. CHRIS BROWN ARRAIGNED - NO PLEA YET
The L.A. County District Attorney charged Chris Brown with two felonies — assault and making a criminal threat — this afternoon. Brown and his attorney Mark Geragos did not enter a plea to the charges. In a proceeding that took roughly 4 minutes and 20 seconds, the judge granted Brown's request to move the arraignment to April 6th.
It is unclear why the case was postponed — maybe to conduct further investigations but most likely to strike a plea deal...
Based on our information, it seems Brown wants to avoid a trial at all costs because the picture of Rihanna taken one day after the incident -- which has not been seen anywhere publicly -- is unbelievable.
During the proceeding, Brown signed a waiver of presence, allowing his lawyer to act on his behalf -- meaning he won't have to show up to any minor court proceedings before April 6th.
Brown, who stood emotionless in court, spoke only four words to the judge -- "yes," "yes," and "yes ma'am."
After Brown's request to continue the case had been granted, the judge warned Brown, "You are not to annoy, harass, molest, threaten or use force or violence against anyone."
The judge asked Rihanna's attorney Donald Etra if there was a "no-contact order" in place, to which Etra replied, "Miss Fenty [Rihanna] does not request such an order."
The R&B star could face up to 4-9 years in jail.
