MICHELLE OBAMA IN THAKOON

While other first ladies and political women often sport the likes of Oscar de la Renta and Carolina Herrera, Michelle Obama has taken to the rising stars. She rocked a printed Thakoon dress along with three Erickson Beamon broaches the night her husband delivered his nomination acceptance speech.

It's a big coup for Thakoon Panchigul, who was recently approved for membership in the CFDA.

"I am incredibly honored that Michelle Obama chose to wear a dress from my collection on such a historical night for her, her family and this country," the designer said.

TYSON BECKFORD GOES SKINNY DIPPING

Tyson Beckford surpised a crowd of 100 guests at a Marie Claire cocktail party in Sydney on Saturday, when he went skinny-dipping in the pool. The magazine's editor Jackie Frank together with celebrity guests Antonia Kidman, Carla Zampatti and Terry Biviano, copped more than an eyeful of Beckford's toned body when he agreed to a dare to jump in the pool. But the sizzling party splash continued when the clearly confident Beckford emerged from the pool completely starkers.

“Everyone was like ‘oh my God’ and taking photos for their Facebook pages,” one party insider said. “They were all saying it was the best party of the year.”

The scene was filmed for a future episode of Tyson’s show, Make Me A Supermodel, according to the Sydney Morning Herald .
