shade: TOM FORD 'PABLO' AVIATORS

This classic aviator shape is not a new look but the fit that these Tom Ford 'Pablos' afford may be. As Eyegoodies mentions, “Real sunglass history buffs will notice the influence of an old (1970?s) Ted Lapidus aviator with the plastic inserts in, and the Porsche Design Aviators (1980?s) with the plastic inserts out. The Pablo is offered in 3 colors gold/light havana (pictured above), gunmetal/dark havana, and gold/black. This is a very unique piece offering 2 different looks built into one pair of sunglasses.” The Pablo’s feature two sets of interchangeable lenses which help balance the sunshine.

Martin Margiela brings us his first ever pair of sunglasses. They have been made in collaboration with Italian eyewear brand Marcolin. You may have noticed Pharrell wearing them in the Everyone Nose Remix video. L’incognito, is made from a solid piece of Polycarbonate. NEON EYES: 'SUPER' SUNGLASSES

When the Italian brand Super launched last year, they were immediately snapped up by celebrities who love acid colors. (Yes, that means Kanye.) But there's more going on here than just flash: The handmade frames allow for intriguing design (exposing layers of color when the materials are cut down, like in the ones pictured), and all the glasses have Zeiss lenses. There are, of course, more understated options available than the ones pictured here, but if rainbow's your thing, you'll have to wait until next February, when these will be at Barneys, Oak, and others for $160.

The Return of the Wayfarer

A massive trend in 2007, the Ray-Ban Wayfarer , is not yet ready to die out. With major fashion influences like Kate Moss still wearing theirs, the vintage Ray-Ban trend has continued to 2008. The re-launch of the infamous Ray-Ban Wayfarer sunglasses caused quite the frenzy in Tinseltown- with everyone who was anyone, donning a pair. Celebs like Lindsay Lohan, Rihanna and Kanye West had a lot to do with bringing the trend to a much wider, perhaps younger demographic.

Many are still in love with they Wayfarer style sunglasses and are not willing to let them go anytime soon, thus the new styles, sizes and shapes - RAYBAN has "colorized" the Wayfarer in a bunch of snazzy colors just in time for summer.
