CHRIS MARCH SUES THIERRY MUGLER OVER BEYONCE COSTUMES

Project Runway alum Chris March is suing Thierry Mugler for allegedly not paying him for work he did on Beyoncé's costumes for her current I AM tour. That sentence was a lot to take in: Chris March, Beyoncé, Thierry Mugler, a lawsuit. We had know idea Chris even worked on costumes for Beyoncé — and her band and her backup dancers — until the suit surfaced. Reached by phone this afternoon, Chris explained he's worked with Thierry for almost seven years on various projects, including Cirque du Soleil costumes. Beyoncé hired Mugler to create her tour costumes in November, and Chris met with Mugler about the project in late December. In January he started work.

MODEL SPOTLIGHT: WENDELL LISSIMORE

Photo: Tarrice Love

MEET WENDELL LISSIMORE. With three covers out on stands on now, it is no question as to why he is our latest man du jour. The Utah native started modeling in 2006, appearing in Italian Vanity Fair and doing some catalogue work here and there. But it wasn't until 2008 that he started blowing up. He did Hermes, Emanuel Ungaro, Mugler and Kris Van Assche, while working it out on the print side, booking a V editorial with the one and only, Linda Evangelista. This month, you can see him on the covers of Italian D, with his son Phoenix, Bleu, and Japan's LUSSW, each showing a different side of this hunk of man. An absolute chameleon, we love how his look goes from Urban Chic to simply, Sophisticated.

Wendell is represented by Red Models in New York City, Ford Homme in Paris, Bookings in London and Group in Barcelona.

Hot Menswear Fresh from Paris by Thierry Mugler, Dries Van Noten, Kris Van Assche and more.

Big, important fashion people have said "Ciao!" to Milan and "Bonjour!" to Paris, where the men's shows kicked off yesterday. And we have good news! Some of our favorite faces were there. Wendell Lissimore did two looks at the Mugler show and Galliano played with androgyny, booking Omayra Mota.
