I HATE THAT I LOVE HER...

It’s been a minute since I did a post on Rihanna. But when I saw her on the red carpet at the 2008 Spirit Of Life Award Dinner honoring Doug Morris in Santa Monica last night I couldn't resist. Rihanna looked so HAUTE in a red hot silk strapless two-piece Monique Lhuillier Resort 2009 number with black stilletos. Thank God her stylist did something with her hair! It has been looking a mess lately.

Naomi Campbell sported high-waisted, black sequined harem pants by Yves Saint Laurent, and a sheer top from the designer's fall collection, in homage to the icons legacy that will live on, this week at the CFDA Awards.

"My first Vogue cover ever was because of this man," she said.

"When I said to him 'Yves, they won't give me a French Vogue cover, they won't put a black girl on the cover' and he was like, 'I'll take care of that', and he did."
