Yes, you read correctly. I repeat: There will be no Diddy at this years Fashion Week. It seems that Sean Diddy Combs will not show his spring '09 Sean John collection with a runway show. In fact, he has no bells and whistles planned at all for the debut of his spring line. Instead he is simply hosting an editors' presentation this month. A Fashion Week without a Sean John show??? This is like a Twinkie with no cream filling or Making the Band with no Laurie Ann! I was so anxious to see the direction that he would take this season. Especially following his monumental (groundbreaking) show from last season. He's robbing us the immensely enjoyable experience of firsthand Diddyness and those delicious Cipriani bellinis. I find solace in knowing that Kimora will never take Baby Phat away from us.
