Michelle Obama rubbed elbows with the fashion elite of New York at a fundraising gala in her honor last night. Hosts included Calvin Klein, Anna Wintour, Andre Leon Talley, and darling of the haute couture set. The evening began at the Sikkema Jennings Art Gallery in lower Manhattan. Guests, who included Sex And The City actress Cynthia Nixon, rapper LL Cool J, and supermodel Iman paid $1,000-a-head to dine. For a heftier sum, an elite group was invited to an intimate party at designer Klein’s plush Perry St. triplex for a cozier gathering.
