N.E.R.D. is Pharrell Williams, Chad Hugo and Shae Haley. However the end result of their time spent behind the controls sounds like they’ve got a lot more than just six hands. Their new album Seeing Sounds, takes you to a new dimension you didn’t know existed but suddenly need a whole lot more of — the kind of dream you’re not sure is good or bad, but you know its better than being awake. The album is a celebration of their genre-resistant, hyperstimulated sound, complete with that hypnotic bass swagger, dirty drumming, sexed-up, galaxy of songs, sounds and sights . New Music: N.E.R.D. and Lil' Wayne Feat. Jay-Z

Tomorrow is a big day in music - with the release of N.E.R.D. 's Seeing Sounds and the highly anticipated, Carter III, both dropping. So just in time for new music Tuesday I'm giving you two tracks you're sure to rock to. First up is a bonus joint off of the Japan release of Seeing Sounds, called Lazer Gun and second is that bangin' new Lil Wayne feat. Jay-Z, Mr. Carter. 

N.E.R.D Concert/Release Party

N.E.R.D. got it rockin last night in an exclusive concert/ record release party at the Roosevelt Hotel in LA. The event was sponsored by Zune, in conjunction with their new album Seeing Sounds.

While Nicole Richie snuck past the press line to catch up with fellow musician Chad Hugo, Pharrell was more than happy to talk about his current business ventures. “I don’t have an empire, but I’m humbly working towards building something,” the music whiz kid said of his own foray into fashion, music and production.
