NEWS UPDATE: MAN COMES FORWARD IN LIL' KIM'S BIRTHDAY BASH MURDER

A club worker responsible for the murder of a woman attending Lil’ Kim’s recent birthday party has confessed and been charged with second-degree murder.

According to New York’s Daily News, 24-year-old Sayed Rahman came forward, after being arrested, admitting he killed partygoer Ingrid Rivera. Reports claim he targeted the woman upon realizing she was drunk and had been kicked out of the club.

Promising to allow her access to re-enter the event, Rahman lured the 24-year-old victim to the VIP Penthouse room located on the roof where he began to either rape or rob her. Unsuccessful, the worker used a metal pipe to inflict pain in the back of her head before hiding the lifeless body in the rooftop’s electrical room.

Despite no suspects named at the time of discovery, police were expected to believe Rahman was responsible because he was one of the few employees with access to the murder scene.
As of now, authorities are running scans for fingerprints on the pipe to officially tag Rivera’s murder to the worker. Prior to his arrest yesterday (August 7) at his Harlem residence, Rahman had no previous criminal record.

His responsibilities at the nightclub were stocking the bar and carrying ice.
