HOW U DOIN??? WENDY WILLIAMS' SHOW GETS PICKED UP FOR NATIONAL RUN

Proving her brand can be as successful on TV as it is on radio, Wendy Williams’ daytime talk show, The Wendy Williams Show is headed for broader TV distribution. After a successful six-week sneak-peek in select markets , Fox announced plans Monday (Aug. 18) to clear the Debmar-Mercury program in mid-2009 on stations in all 18 of its markets.

The Fox-owned stations in New York (WNYW), Los Angeles (KTTV), Dallas (KDFW) and Detroit (WJBK) began airing the one-hour The Wendy Williams Show on July 14. The six-week run will conclude Aug. 22. The official launch follows a series of much-talked-about shows including a jaw dropping exchange between the host and guest Omarosa (of ‘The Apprentice’ fame) in addition to recent interviews with Aubrey O’Day of Danity Kane, Michelle Williams and Kim Kardashian.

According to Fox, the program posted rating increases in key demos during the May sweeps in both New York and Los Angeles. “Everything about the Wendy preview clicked for our stations, from conception to promotion to hitting the air. It completely broke the mold. The show is now a proven winner, and we can’t wait to see it debut across the country next year,” said Frank Cicha, senior vp of programming for Fox Television Stations.

"Doing the daily show for the past six weeks has really been one of the most exciting times in my life," she said "It has given me the chance to be myself while living out my dream and connecting with my fans on a whole new level."

THINGS HEAT UP ON THE WENDY WILLIAMS SHOW

Reality TV villainess, Omarosa battled it out with Wendy Williams on Monday in a spat that at one point turned physical. She appeared on Fox's The Wendy Williams Show to promote her upcoming book but instead spent more time trading insults with Wendy. "I wanted to throw her off the set," Williams said.

The altercation started when Omarosa first walked onto the show and was displeased with Williams' introduction of her and said that she would not be disrespected. Things got uglier when Williams grabbed Omarosa's book cover to hold it up to the camera, and Omarosa snatched it back out of Williams' hand. "Omarosa wished her career was my career," Williams told the AP.

"Omarosa is a delusional, D-list, pathetic woman."

The yanking gave way to Omarosa attacking Williams' appearance, asking the talk show host whether she had had a nose job and suggesting she shouldn't wear wigs. But Williams didn't stay silent throughout the heated interview. She called Omarosa "a typical angry black woman" and suggested cosmetic injections could fix her wrinkles. Will there be a rematch? "I have no reason to invite Omarosa back to the show," said Williams. "That's done. She had her moment."

WENDY WILLIAMS GETS EMOTIONAL ON TV

As you know, Wendy Williams' daytime talk show debuted earlier this week and can be seen in a few major markets on the Fox Network. In this segment, Wendy gets choked up when an audience member tells her that she has had 5 miscarriages and wanted to know how Wendy handled going through that similar situation. Wendy shared that she has had several miscarriages, including two that happened when she was at least five months pregnant.

Is it just me or is her show really good. She's a natural. Tyra should really watch out.
