Gabrielle Union & Beverly Johnson On The Set Of Tyler Perry’s ” Good Deeds”

The fire from his latest film, Madea’s Big Happy Family, hasn’t nearly burnt out yet, and Tyler Perry is already in production for his next film, Good Deeds. Actress Gabrielle Union tweeted a photo of herself and Beverly Johnson on the set yesterday with the caption, “Me & the ever beautiful, timeless LEGEND…Beverly Johnson!!! Thanx Tyler for casting an icon to play my mama  ”

The upcoming film, centers around Glen Deeds, an affluent, romantically engaged businessman who falls for a struggling, single mother (Thandie Newton). Tyler Perry, It’s a romantic comedy about a guy that’s torn between the girl he’s going to marry and a new girl that he just meets and he falls in love with. 

The Cast also features Phylicia Rashad and Brian White, however, Tyler Perry’s popular character ‘Madea” will not be making an appearance in this film.

“Rio” Steals #1 from “Madea’s Big Happy Family” This Weekend

The bluebirds of smash hit film ‘Rio’ continued to take the box office by storm this holiday weekend by maintaining their #1 position, which forced Tyler Perry’s ‘Madea’s Big Happy Family’ to take the #2 spot. For its 2 week reign, ‘Rio’ has earned a whopping $81.2 million.

‘Madea’s Big Happy Family,’ the 3rd film from Perry’s Madea franchise released in the Easter period since 2008, also raked in $25.7 million on its debut weekend, which is pretty good. But not good enough to beat the birds!
