Diana Ross Next in Line to Take Care of Michael Jackson’s Kids

Diva extraordinaire and Motown legend Diana Ross has been confirmed the next in line to take care of the late, great Michael Jackson’s kids if anything should happen to his 81 year old mother Kathryn Jackson.


According to RadarOnline, a source close to the Jackson family revealed that Ross was named in Michael’s will to serve as the second guardian of Prince Michael, Paris, andBlanket.
The alleged source went on to say:

“Diana has made no moves whatsoever not fulfill her role that Michael intended for her. Michael didn’t trust anyone in his family besides, his mother, to raise the children. Michael loved Diana and chose her for a very specific reason.
Katherine is a very doting, loving grandmother. She just isn’t getting any younger and that is why Michael named a second guardian.”

The site reports that an informant from Miss Ross’s camp has said:

“She will step in if there’s an immediate need to do so”.

Diana Ross stormed onto the scene in 60’s as the ‘can’t quite keep your eye off’ lead singer of the popular girl group The Supremes. With poise and grace she helped develop the 'Motown Sound.' Her elegance, coupled with big hair and glam-style of dress garnered her the Hollywood appeal that would catapult the Supremes to the pop charts, earn them 12 American number one hits, and later make way for a successful solo career.

The Guinness Book of World Records declared Diana Ross the most successful female music artist of the 20th century with a total of 18 number one hits throughout her entire career. She has two stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame- one as a solo artist and the other as a member of The Supremes and a Tony Award for her one women show, An Evening with Diana Ross. With all of those accomplishments her biggest, as she describes, is becoming the mother of five beautiful children.

Today, Diana is preparing to appear at two major events in the UK the famous Liverpool Pop Festival and the National Trust Summer Festival in Petworth House, East Sussex. Most recently she headlined at New York's Radio City Music Hall at the Divas with Heart event, which also featured Gladys Knight, Chaka Khan and Patti Labelle.

Ms. Ross embodies everything that it takes to maintain longevity in an industry that doesn’t guarantee success from day to day. And is honored for being a true living legend.
