Even popstars need sleep: Tired-looking Lady Gaga has a rare off-day

By JODY THOMPSON

Time for bed? Lady Gaga was looking tired and pale as left her London hotel late last night for yet another promotional engagment ahead of the release of her album Born This Way

She's one of the hardest working and most prolific popstars in the world today - so it's hardly surprising that even Lady Gaga has an off day from time to time.

The normally perfectly styled star, 25, was seen looking tired and drawn as she left her London hotel last night for yet another engagement.

As she removed her sunglasses, the relatively dressed-down singer looked as if she'd rather be in bed - but her self-imposed relentless schedule just wouldn't allow it.

Off-day: The star is in the middle of a hectic schedule ahead of the release of her album Born This Way on Monday as well as new single Hair today

Gaga is currently in the middle of a promotional whirlwind. Her new album Born This Way comes out on May 23, she went to No. 1 last week with Edge Of Glory and released the video for new single Judas last week too.

On top of that, she releases yet another new single Hair today - and Tweeted last night that she was undergoing another reinvention to mark the occasion too.

She wrote: 'How ironic, head full of bleach + two black Cruella stripes. Scalp burning, Mole drawing, eyeliner dripping. Waiting for #Hair. I could Dye.'

She added: 'I'll dye living just as free as my Hair!" Actually the lyric is "I'll die." I think these bleach fumes are making me laugh at my own jokes.'

Sneaking out the back door: The star snuck out wearing a leather jacket, tights, and stiletto boots

Shouldn't tans be all over, Kelly? Miss Osbourne sports orange fake tanned legs.. but forgets to apply to her face and arms

By DAILY MAIL REPORTER

Uneven: Kelly Osbourne sports fake tanned legs but pale arms and face as she left a TV studio yesterday

If you're going to slap the fake tan all over your legs then it's usually a good idea to apply it to the rest of your body too.

Something Kelly Osbourne really should have taken into account yesterday.
The reality TV star was sporting very tanned legs as she left a TV studio in Los Angeles.

And if we didn't know any better, it looked as though she'd just been on a very warm holiday.

However, a closer look at her arms and face soon gave away that it was actually fake.
Because while Kelly had managed to fake tan her pins evenly and smoothly - if a little orange - she'd forgotten to apply it above the waist.

Bye for now: Kelly waves at the cameras as she headed home

Kelly, 26, was leaving the E! studios after taping an interview with chat show host Chelsea Handler for her show Chelsea Lately.

She clutched her ever-so-cute black Pomeranian Syd, she looked very pretty in a short ecru skirt which she teamed with a thick black belt and a grey and black striped jumper.

Kelly accessorised with a big pink bow in her hair, a sequinned black bag and towering gold studded heels.

Puppy love: Kelly clutched at her cute black Pomeranian Sid who came on the Chelsea Handler show with her

She looked happy as she chatted with her friend and little wonder, what with a new man in her life.

Earlier this month she stepped out with Anton Lombardi in New York, just over a month after splitting from British rocker Rob Damiani.

Good old natter: Chelsea Handler leaves the studios after her chat with Kelly on her show

Kelly, who was left heartbroken when fiancé Luke Worrall allegedly cheated on her last year, was spotted hand-in-hand with 25-year-old Lombardi.

The couple also attend the Met gala after-party at the Kenmare restaurant, according to the New York Post.

A source told the newspaper: 'Kelly and Anton have known each other for a long time, but their relationship became more serious a week ago.

She's been constantly busy since arriving in America for her role on the judging panel of X Factor USA.

Happy: The 27-year-old star looked relaxed as she talked to the show's stars, Ashley Brown and Gavin Lee

Cheryl looked happy and relaxed as she took some time out from her busy schedule and chatted to the actors while she proudly clutched her programme.

She must have been thrilled to have a night off after attending the Fox Upfront event on Monday night alongside fellow X Factor USA judges Simon Cowell and Paula Abdul.

Cheryl flew into New York earlier this week after a brief trip to the Cannes Film Festival, where she caused a stir when she arrived at a premiere looking stunning in a plunging white dress.

And now it seems the Girls Aloud singer could soon be seen making an appearance on the big screen, after apparently meeting up with movie producer Harvey Weinstein during her time in Cannes.

Cheryl is said to be in talks with three major production companies Stateside after wowing bosses with her star quality.

The full team: X Factor USA stars Steve Jones, Nicole Scherzinger, L.A Reid, Paula Abdul, Simon Cowell and Cheryl at the event

'It just shows how quickly her profile has rocketed now she is on the US X Factor.

At the moment it's just about sorting out when she can actually fit in any filming because her schedule is full until Christmas. She's very keen though.'

Sneak peek: Jamie Bell voices the intrepid reporter as Steven Spielberg brings Tintin to the big screen

By DAILY MAIL REPORTER

Leaping off the page: Jamie Bell voices intrepid reporter Tintin in the long-awaited film adaptation of the Herge book series

Having bought the film rights to Tintin 28 years ago, Steven Spielberg's big screen vision of the stories has been a long time coming.

But for fans of the intrepid reporter, they've been given a hint of things to come as the first trailer for the Tintin movie was released online.

A one minute trailer of The Adventures Of Tintin: Secret Of The Unicorn - the first in a proposed trilogy of Tintin movies - premiered online ahead of its release in December.

Trusty sidekick: Tintin gets a helping hand from his pet dog Snowy as he fights an enemy

The motion-capture animated film sees Spielberg returning to the director's chair with Lord Of The Rings' Peter Jackson producing.

Hoping to stay faithful to Tintin creator Herge, aka George Remi's, memory, Spielberg enlisted Edgar Wright, Doctor Who scribe Steven Moffat and Joe Cornish to helm the script.

Providing the voice of the adventurer is Billy Elliot star Jamie Bell, with Daniel Craig as the nefarious Red Rackham.

We've got our eyes on you: Simon Pegg and Nick Frost voice bumbling detectives Thomson and Thompson

Of course, Tintin's escapades wouldn't be complete without his trusty canine sidekick Snowy.

The cast is predominantly British with Simon Pegg and Nick Frost playing bumbling detectives Thomson and Thompson.

Andy Serkis - who famously was captured on motion capture to play Gollum in Lord Of The Rings - voices Tintin's best friend Captain Haddock, while The Office star Mackenzie Crook voices a smuggler.

Giving chase: Tintin is on the hunt for a good story

Little is being given away about the plotline with only fleeting glimpses of the characters in the trailer.

The trailer opens with Tintin carrying a torch searching an empty room as a voiceover warns 'I don't think you realise this, but you're about to walk into a whole mess of danger.'

A shadowy Tintin is seen lifting a dust sheet off a display box - what it contains is unclear - as he tells Snowy: 'Look at this...'

Follow that boy: Thomson and Thompson give chase

As Tintin is heard asking: 'A unicorn... what secrets do you hold?' we are given a quick look at Thomson and Thompson - spotted spying on Tintin through holes in a newspaper.

As a voice is heard saying 'how could you let them escape?', Tintin is seen punching a man in the face as he tries to flee a boat cabin.

In snapshots of scenes a plane is seen crashing in the desert, Tintin is seen chasing someone in a blue car and a pirate ship tries to navigate a stormy sea.

Danger: A plane is seen crashing into pieces in the desert

Spielberg said: 'We are going to make three Tintin movies back-to-back. I'll direct the first one, Peter will direct the second one. We'll probably co-direct the third one.'

Over 200 million copies of the Tintin books have been sold worldwide since they were first published as a comic strip in 1929.

The books have been translated into 70 languages.

Being a jet-setting celebrity has it's down sides - or so January Jones would have us believe.

The Mad Men actress opens up in a new interview, admitting that she has had therapy in the past while travelling the globe because she likes having someone to talk to.

January, who recently revealed she was pregnant, but did not name the father, told U.S. Allure magazine: 'I was travelling so much, and I just needed to make sure I was grounded and had someone to talk to.

Cover girl: Jones graces the cover of the June mag

But she also say it's hard to imagine anyone who is not in the industry being understanding of her job's demands: '"I'm sorry, I need to go away for three months and kiss other men while you stay here.'"

His heart will go on! Newly-single Leonardo DiCaprio floats Blake Lively's boat in Cannes... as his ex Bar Refaeli goes solo

By DAILY MAIL REPORTER

Gossip: Leonardo DiCaprio and Blake Lively got cosy on a luxury boat in Cannes today and seemed very comfortable in each other's company

Everyone knows Leo is quite the Lothario when it comes to charming ladies on boats - just ask Kate Winslet.

And today the newly-single Titanic star wasted no time wooing Gossip Girl Blake Lively aboard a yacht in the French Riviera.

The flighty pair put on a very affectionate display, embracing and laughing together. Meanwhile, very close by, Leo's ex Bar Refaeli made another solo red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival.

The Israeli model, 25, looked breathtaking as she strutted confidently in a flowing blue gown before an army of photographers at the premiere of Mel Gibson's film The Beaver.

But as Bar lapped up the attention at the glitzy event from the army of flashbulbs, Leo and Blake, 23, were enjoying each other's attention as they lounged around in their casual clothing.

Lively wore a cream chiffon mini dress which she paired with matching flat shoes.
The fashionista accessorised with a pink Chanel shoulder bag and tied a green scarf to it in case she got cold later in the day.

Big smile: Bar, who recently split from Leo, ensured her smile was firmly in place as she posed before the army of flashbulbs in her stunning blue gown with cut out panels on the back

More than friends? Nearby, Blake and Leo put on an affectionate display as they soaked up the sun in the South of France

Inception star Leo star was very dressed down in jeans and a blue shirt, covering his eyes in large dark glasses.

They were joined on the boat by Steven Spielberg and his wife Kate Capshaw - but Leo and Blake only seemed to have eyes for each other.

An eyewitness who saw the pair at the Hotel du Cap Eden Roc said: 'She was wearing white and he was in a baseball cap. They walked around the grounds together. It looked like they were a couple.'

DiCaprio split from Sports Illustrated model Bar Raphaeli recently after an on-off six year relationship.

Rumours first surfaced that all was not well when Leo failed to accompany her to the Met Gala in New York a few weeks ago, instead spending the night carousing at city hotspot Top of the Standard.

Mirror mirror: The striking similarity between Kate's Royal Wedding dress and the gown worn by Berlusconi's princess goddaughter

By TAMARA ABRAHAM

Similarities: Italian-born Isabella Orsini (left) was stunned to notice the likeness between her own gown, from her wedding two years ago, and the Sarah Burton dress worn by the Duchess of Cambridge last month

There were gasps across the world when the new Duchess of Cambridge stepped out in her wedding gown at Westminster Abbey last month.

But another princess across Europe was more stunned than most as Prince William's bride walked down the aisle in her couture gown by Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen.

Isabella Orsini, who is the goddaughter of Italian prime minister Silvio Berlusconi, married Belgian Prince Edouard de Ligne two years ago in a startlingly similar dress.

Mirror mirror: Both women are slim, very pretty brunettes, who married into European royalty

Although hers was made for her by Belgian designer Gerald Watelet, it bore many similar hallmarks, from the lace applique bodice and sleeves to its full skirt and dramatic train.

The similarities are heightened by the fact that both women are slim, very pretty brunettes, and though the hairstyle differed, they both wore veils with diamond tiaras.

The likeness is so striking that newspapers and magazines across Germany, Belgium, France and Italy branded Catherine's dress a copy, with headlines reading 'Copy-Kate' and 'Copycat Kate'.

Making an entrance: Like Catherine, Ms Orsini had a long train on her gown by Belgian designer Gerald Watelet

Ms Orsini, 36, who is an actress, makes no such claim, though she does agree that comparisons between the two sets of wedding pictures are uncanny.

She told Italian magazine Novella 2000: 'As soon as the Duchess of Cambridge went out to go to church, I thought her dress was a copy of mine.

'It means Kate Middleton has good taste.'

Fashion statement: Catherine's dress had a full skirt and dramatic train to match the Westminster Abbey venue

The style, it appears, is a popular one for those marrying into European royalty.

Both the Duchess and Ms Orsini's dress mirror the wedding gown of Grace Kelly, who became Princess Grace of Monaco when she married Ranier III, Prince of Monaco, in 1956.

Style inspiration? Grace Kelly, who became Princess Grace of Monaco when she married Ranier III in 1956

Miranda Eason, editor of You & Your Wedding magazine, made the same observation.

She told the Daily Express: 'The reason they are similar is they both referenced Grace Kelly’s iconic wedding dress.'

But she added, there were plenty of differences between the Duchess and Ms Orsini's gowns.

'It’s a similar neckline and there are other similarities but the skirt, for example, is different,' she said.

Trying to drop a hint, Christine? Ms Bleakley arrives at National Movie Awards

By SARAH BULL

Trying to drop a hint? Christine Bleakley wore a bridal-style white lace dress as she arrived at the National Movie Awards with boyfriend Frank Lampard

She said recently she hasn't been dating Frank Lampard long enough to start thinking about marriage.

But Christine Bleakley certainly seemed to be dropping hints for her footballer beau as she arrived at the L'Oreal Paris National Movie Awards wearing a white lacy dress, similar in style to the Alexander McQueen gown Kate Middleton wore when she married Prince William.

The 32-year-old star looked stunning in the Dolce & Gabbana dress, which she teamed with a pair of black Christian Louboutin heels and a sexy side-swept hairstyle.

Red carpet style: Christine teamed her white Dolce & Gabbana dress with a pair of black Christian Louboutin heels

Christine, who presented the National Movie Awards on ITV, spoke recently about her future with Lampard, admitting she wasn't sure if marriage was on the cards.

She said: 'People keep asking when he’s going to ask me to marry him. But I’m the last person who should know that.

'We went to Paris for two days a few weeks ago and suddenly it was, “Look, they’re ring shopping.” No, we weren’t and he certainly hasn’t asked.

Quick change: After her red carpet appearance, Christine changed into three more dresses for the show

'We’ve only been seeing each other a year and a half, which isn’t long enough for me.'

However, Christine added: 'I can’t imagine not being with Frank, and I’d like to enjoy being married to him for a while before having children. Frank would have more tomorrow, but he knows I’m not ready for it.’

Following her walk down the red carpet, Christine changed into a stunning figure-hugging red dress as she began presenting the ITV coverage.

Date night: Nicole Scherzinger and Lewis Hamilton were another celebrity couple to attend the event

Relaxing: Nicole and Lewis looked as though they were enjoying themselves at the event

Don't Hold Your Breath singer Nicole wowed in a pretty nude dress and matching sky-high heels, while Hamilton looked smart in his grey three-piece suit.

Screen stars: (Left to right) Jodie Whittaker, Mandy Moore and Georgie Henley all glammed up for the occasion

Nicole spoke recently about her figure, and while she looked stunning on the red carpet, she said she has 'gained a few pounds'.

She told Glamour magazine: 'I’ve grown as a woman to just accept myself. You’re not going to feel great all the time – so you’ve just not got to be hard on yourself.

'Right now I’ve probably gained a few pounds, but it’s OK because at the right time I’ll lose a couple of pounds. When I put my mind to it, I hit the gym.'

Take That opened the night's entertainment with a performance of their never-before-heard single Love, Love - taken from the upcoming X-Men: First Class.

Full-length glamour: Singers Dame Shirley Bassey and X Factor reject Katie Waissel went for all black outfits

Gary Barlow, Robbie Williams, Mark Owen, Jason Orange and Howard Donald were joined on stage by a group of dancers as they performed the bass-thumping track.

Explaining star Colin Firth's absence, Rush said: 'Colin Firth sends his apologies. He is off shooting a light comedy, which is a form of therapy I guess.'

And when Hooper took the microphone, he joked: 'I would like to thank the Queen and the Royal Family for thoughtfully arranging the Royal Wedding the Friday before the release of The King's Speech DVD.'

After an exclusive clip of Cars 2, Lewis Hamilton, who makes a cameo in the movie, presented the award for Best Animation to Disney's Tangled.

Accepting the award was one of the film's main voice characters, Mandy Moore, who looked incredible in a long moss green dress.

But after the diminutive Hamilton had spoken into the microphone, statuesque Mandy had to stoop down to accept the prize.

Talking about Depp, Rush said: 'Johnny Depp is so cool. He can come to rehearsal in a crazed blouse and a bit of mismatched jewellery and he can look hip - I would look like my mother.'

Success: Eliza Doolittle and Lloyd Wade performed their huge hit Pack Up

Here come the boys: James Corden and James McAvoy were among the guest presenters for the evening

And Depp's other Pirates co-star Keith Richards recorded a special tribute video message in honour of the actor.

In the message, which had been interspersed with footage of Johnny's most famous films, Richards said: 'There ain't another movie star who comes close to this guy. And to think that he didn't even start off as an actor first of all. That's my boy.'

And, as Depp was unable to attend, he recorded a message of thanks for viewers, calling the award a 'sublime honour'.
