We can see you: Beyonce shades her face under her hooded jacket as she heads to her car in New York today
Beyonce attempts to keep a low profile just days after announcing she is no longer being managed by her father.
The 30-year-old singer was spotted in New York City today, hiding under a hooded jacket as she headed to her car with a security guard in tow.
On Monday the singer confirmed she had parted way on a 'professional level' with father Matthew Knowles, who has masterminded her career since her Destiny's Child days.
New era: It is the first time the singer has been seen since she dumped her father as her manager on Monday
In the statement, Beyonce stressed her devotion to her father on a personal level.
'He is my father for life and I love my dad dearly. I am grateful for everything he has taught me,' Beyonce said.
However their relationship is said to have become strained after it was confirmed a year ago that he had fathered a love child with Alexsandra Wright.

The little boy called Nixon was born after Wright claims she had an 18-month affair with Knowles.
This led to the unravelling of Beyonce's parents marriage and her mother Tina filed for divorce in late 2009 after 29 years of marriage.
Tina Knowles worked as a stylist for Destiny's Child and continues to style her daughter. Together they launched a clothing line, House of Dereon.
Matthew was also said to initially be resistant to Beyonce's union with her now-husband rapper Jay-Z.
There have been rumours over the past couple of years that Beyonce was going to fire Knowles as her manager and instead partner with her husband's company Roc Nation.
In an interview with The Associated Press, he also said his daughter's decision to part ways with him as her manager is all part of her growing up.
He acknowledged Beyonce is a 'very, very smart businesswoman', and says as she turns 30, it is natural that she wants to have more control over her affairs.
Beyonce is currently working on her fourth studio album, a follow-up to 2008 disc I Am... Sasha Fierce.
