NEW MUSIC TUESDAYS | ALBUM RELEASES

J. Holiday shows some artistic growth on his sophomore LP 'Round 2,' the follow-up disc to his gold-selling debut album, "Back of My 'Lac" which brought you hits like Bed and Suffocate.

Rarely does an artist take the kind of one-record creative leap The-Dream does here on his superb sophomore effort, "Love vs. Money." Unlike his debut, this is a seamless, brilliantly produced affair featuring his unmatched contemporary pop technique and songwriting craftsmanship.

THE DOPEST SONG ON MY I-POD | J. HOLIDAY "FLY"

After a momentous entry into the music game, with his single - Bed (penned by The-Dream), J. Holiday seemed to leave just as quick as he came in. But he's back in the studio working on the follow-up to his debut album, Back of My Lac. The rumored first single from his new project in entitled Fly. It's an undeniably ear-engaging song, with a solid, synth-heavy beat (delivered by production team the Co-Stars), and pitch-perfect vocals. He's definitely taken a new direction musically. If he can build enough support for this record, I can't see why it won't be a hit. I can't wait to hear the rest of his new material.
